The Tavern excels in its second role as the 19th hole for five superb golf courses located only moments away within Bethpage State Park. In the heart of the village, the Tavern suggests a cozy English pub with rich oak appointments and dark green accents.

It's patrons are serious sports fans, so 23 satellite TVs beam in the action in and around our 56 foot oval bar, yet if quiet dining is your thing, then there are many nooks in which to tuck away from the tube.
B.K. Sweeney's Parkside TavernThe food is delicious and hearty. Super steaks, homemade chicken pot pies, pastas and fresh seafood head the menu and may be ordered at the bar or at your table.

An air of relaxed and comfortable elegance surrounds its cozy booths and tables, a feeling evident in the congeniality of patrons seated around the bar where conversation is lively and strangers are rarely permitted to remain so for more than three sips.
