Where will you be coming from? Points East of Garden City Manhattan Midtown Tunnel, 59th St. Bridge, Triboro Bridge, or LaGuardia Airport Brooklyn, Queens, Verrazzano Bridge, J.F.K. Airport Long Island Railroad (LIRR) - Penn Station, Manhattan, or Long Island

From Points East of Garden City

Take either:

• LIE (495) Long Island Expressway to exit 37-S (south) "Willis Avenue" OR
• GCP Grand Central Parkway aka Northern State Pkwy to exit 28-S (south) "Willis Avenue"

Take Willis Avenue SOUTHBOUND to the end. Turn RIGHT onto Old Country Road. Travel 2 blocks. Turn LEFT at traffic light onto Franklin Avenue. Cross over Stewart Avenue & Seventh Street (and the LIRR tracks). Turn RIGHT onto Sixth Street. Make an immediate RIGHT turn behind the Post Office into Public Parking Lot #6. There you will see the Uptown Grille Rear Entrance Awning.

From Manhattan - Midtown Tunnel, 59th St. Bridge, Triboro Bridge, or LaGuardia Airport

Take either:

• LIE (495) Long Island Expressway to exit 34-S (south) "New Hyde Park Road" OR
• GCP Grand Central Parkway aka Northern State Pkwy to exit 26-S (south) "New Hyde Park Road"

Make a RIGHT turn off exit ramp onto New Hyde Park Road SOUTHBOUND.  Cross over Jericho Turnpike and turn LEFT at first light after LIRR tracks onto Stewart Avenue. Continue past Garden City Hotel, cross over Cherry Valley Avenue thru the traffic light & take the curve in the road into Cathedral Avenue. Proceed through the traffic light over LIRR tracks to next traffic light. Turn LEFT onto SIXTH STREET & continue thru the next traffic light (HILTON AVENUE). GO STRAIGHT. Just before next intersection (FRANKLIN AVENUE), TURN LEFT into Public Parking Lot # 6 (behind Post Office). There you will see the Uptown Grille Rear Entrance Awning.

From Brooklyn, Queens, Verazano Bridge, J.F.K. Airport

• Take Belt Parkway aka Southern State Parkway to exit 19-N (north) "Peninsula Blvd."

Follow Peninsula Blvd. approximately one mile to Franklin Street in Hempstead. Turn LEFT onto Franklin Street, which will turn into Franklin Avenue in Garden City. Once in Garden City, turn LEFT onto SIXTH STREET and make an immediate RIGHT turn behind Post Office into Village Parking Lot # 6 where you will see the Uptown Grille Rear Entrance Awning.

From Long Island Railroad (LIRR) - Penn Station, Manhattan, or Long Island

• Take LIRR to Garden City Station

Walk out onto SIXTH STREET and turn LEFT. Pass HILTON AVENUE and proceed to next traffic light at FRANKLIN AVENUE. Turn LEFT at the Post Office and you will see the Uptown Grille Rear Entrance Awning.
