B.K. Sweeney's Station SaloonLong time patrons, commuters, tourists and visitors love BKS Station Saloon, a busy, warm and delightful haven which is easily the best part of the Douglaston Railroad Station, and the most popular place in town. Customers range across the board from the young and beautiful to the mellow middles to the distinguished seniors, and all of them appreciate the Saloon's well-known hallmarks; quality food and drink, friendly ambiance and good fun for you, your family and friends, and your business associates.
B.K. Sweeney's Station SaloonBKS Station Saloon is open seven days a week; lunch is served noon to 4pm. The menu is classic BKS Delicious, with dishes to please both simple and sophisticated palettes. In addition to the wonders of the main menu, there are weekly specials. On Mondays, you'll enjoy selecting from the Special hamburger List, and receive a complimentary 12-ounce draft beer or a glass of wine. Tuesdays bring sizzling fajitas of all kinds; Wednesdays present unlimited sliced steak ($10.95), and Sunday Brunch, served noon to 4pm, may be enlivened with unlimited Bloody Marys, Mimosas or screwdrivers (keeping in mind that you don't want to be a screwy driver!) Your Saloon Card will be punched at every lunch; the sixth one's on us.

B.K. Sweeney's Station SaloonYou'll love the place, which in previous lives was F. Scott's and the Weeping Beech. It's focal point is the 25-stool bar, 100 years old with hand-carved inlays. It used to support several million elbows up in Saratoga, NY. The place seats 150 at comfortable tables and booths in four rooms. It has 17 TVs for the sports-minded and news-hounds. In fair weather the French doors are opened to lend that breezy, outdoor feeling. All considered the Station Saloon is certainly worth your visit, but we must warn you; it's habit forming. And it's the fifth reason -- there are four other BKS establishments on Long Island -- that "Life's a little sweeter at a B.K. Sweeney's!"
